Oeyvind is an experienced personal trainer and weight-loss coach with more than a decade of experience helping clients achieve lasting results. With a background in both Norwegian and international education, he has completed multiple certifications and courses in coaching, nutrition, and weight-loss psychology from respected institutions, including the American Council on Exercise (ACE) and courses with Dr. Layne Norton. His approach combines cutting-edge science with practical strategies that work in real life.
In addition to his coaching career, Ăyvind has extensive experience from the Norwegian Armed Forces and police force, where he spent nearly 15 years in roles that required mental resilience, discipline, and leadership. He served as an instructor and mentor in high-pressure environments, guiding people through demanding training programs like âhell weekâ and selection processes. These roles gave him deep insight into mental models and how people react under stress, which he now applies in his coaching practice to help clients overcome their own mental barriers.
Over time, Ăyvind realized that traditional diets fail because the brain actively resists weight loss. The key to lasting change wasnât another meal plan or workout routineâit was reprogramming the brain to make healthy choices feel natural and automatic.
Once he understood this, Ăyvind dedicated years to educating himself, diving deep into scientific studies, neuroscience, and behavioral psychology. He read books from leading experts in neuroscience, behavioral change, and mental programming, and combined that knowledge with his practical experience. After years of refining and testing, he developed his own methodâa system that helps clients overcome the brainâs resistance to weight loss and create lasting, sustainable change without relying on willpower.
